Ellie’s yoga practice began seven years ago, first as an antidote to her stressful job and then as an integral part of her life. She competed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 with Mudra Yoga.
Ellie divides her time between Switzerland and working as a medical doctor in Scotland. Through her passion for promoting self-care and holistic health, she began yoga and wellbeing retreats and private lifestyle medicine coaching to help people meet their health goals.
For Ellie, yoga provides a sanctuary for calm, self-discovery and personal growth. She loves to explore both yin and yang elements in her classes, cultivating a balance between strength and light. Ellie’s teaching style is flowing, mindful and well-balanced vinyasa, with an emphasis on movement with breath and finding meditation in movement. She also offers Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage.
