High-intensity interval training, also called high-intensity intermittent exercise or sprint interval training, is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. HIIT workouts train your body to tolerate and quickly recover from periods of high-intensity exercise for an optimal fitness boost!

A high intensity workout on a stationary bicycle. Workouts vary by re-positioning of the body (standing vs sitting), intervals, endurance, pedal speed and resistance on pedals. Your instructor will shout out timing intervals to pedal harder, ease off,  increase or decrease the bike tension. You don't need to have any cycling experience and can work to your own levels of fitness, but you will be guaranteed to sweat in this energetic cardiovascular workout.

This type of class is a full body workout, using several different exercise techniques to improve overall performance in sport. By training muscles you dont normally use so much in say running or skiing, it will help to correct imbalances and prevent injury by using the muscles differently to the way they may normally function in your specific sport.  You would do a mix of strength training, cardiovascular training, HIIT and stretching to create a varied workout.

A dance style class which uses a mix of boxing and Pilates style exercises that will not only strengthen your core, but sculpt and elongate your muscles. A fast and intense cardiovascular workout, with energising music which is sure to make you sweat. Piloxing can burn up to 600 calories per hour. Anyone exercising regularly and with determination will strengthen nearly all muscles: abs, legs, glutes, and with the boxing component also the arms, back, and shoulder muscles - a great all-rounder class.

TRX stands for total body resistance exercises. It is a form of suspension training that uses your body weight to create strength, stability, balance and flexibility.

It is great for all fitness levels, abilities and experience as its easy and safe to use. Your instructor can give different degrees of difficulty for every exercise, changing the angle of your suspension or support from the TRX straps.

It is low impact and suitable for rehabilitation after injury but always encourages use of the core to stabilise while suspended.

Barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. In each energising and targeted workout, you'll use the ballet barre and exercise equipment such as handheld weights, as well as your own bodyweight to, strengthen and stretch your entire body often repeating isometric exercises where you focus on specific small muscle groups.

A great low impact fun workout suitable for all levels, where you will see all body toning results and strengthening, as well as improved cardio fitness.
