Mika started practising yoga ten years ago. The sensation of calmness that that yoga left within her initially sparked her love for the practice and now way of life. Her passion for yoga brought her to India where she spent time practicing in a Sivananda ashram. With this trip, Mika’s love and interest for yoga and India grew.
Mika Completed her 200 hrs in Kerala, vinyasa flow. It was when she found traditional tantric hatha that her practice started to transform and become an essential part of her life. She found that practicing stillness and stability on her mat was transformative for her life off the mat.
After exploring Yin yoga, she found the healing powers of this practice and decided to do her Yin teacher training. She loves to teach Yin as it allows her to create a space of stillness, where people get the chance to tune in and direct their awareness inwards.
